Are you believing God for something? Is it taking longer than you thought or expected? So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up, Galatians 6:9
My brethren, no matter how long you may have been standing, don’t give up! Your season is coming. Your harvest of blessing is on its way. It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or next year, but remember, at the right time you will experience your breakthrough.
Be encouraged today because God is faithful and His promises are true. Keep standing, keep hoping, and keep believing. Keep doing good. Keep declaring the promises of God over your life. Choose to be around people who are going to encourage you and fill your heart and mind with God’s Word. Let a song of praise come out of your mouth. As you continue to press on in faith and keep an attitude of victory, you will see your harvest of blessing and live as an overcomer in every area of your life.
In Jesus name, Amen
Your Actions Will Win Them
1 Peter 3:1b NLT “…your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over”
If you read the same verse in NKJV it says, "They, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives”
Manytimes, we try to win people over by telling them all about what we know or explain how they should act. We may have good intentions and really want to help people, but in reality, it is our life of excellence and integrity that speaks to the hearts of others.
In this particular scripture, Peter is talking to women who received salvation after they were married and had husbands who were not yet believers, but the message still applies to every believer. The first thing people should notice about us (believers) is our love, patience, kindness, gentleness, strength, and joy. When they see the difference Christ has made in our lives, they will want what we have. The scripture says it’s God’s kindness that leads people to repentance, not nagging.
So, let our light shine, be good-natured, and be kind. We are the salt of the earth. Make people thirsty for what we have. Behind the scenes, we should pray for their salvation and be ready to share the message of the gospel when the time is right. Remember, actions speak louder than words. Be an example of God’s love so we can effectively win others to Him!
As believers we should ask God to help us to display our characteristics of love and goodness so that others will turn to us.
We have to thank God for choosing to use us and we should surrender every area of our life to Him.
God bless you.

When You are Waiting for Your Breakthrough
One of life’s lessons I have learn so far is to wait on God when you need a breakthrough! However, when we are not patient or frustrated and worried, it is because we are trying to make something happen that only God himself can make happen. Pastors call this, “human energy attempting to do God’s job.”
How many times have you prayed and believe in the word of God for a breakthrough in your life to not see anything happen? We have many times.
So what are we to do? How are we to act during this time of waiting?
In the book of Mark 4: 26-28 tells the story of the patient farmer.
How do we know he is patient? Very easy! let me explain it to you.
Because the Word tells us he sowed his seed, then went away sleeping and rising! This does not sound like worrying and be afraid to me. Then at the proper time the ground brings forth the promise of the seed, this is the harvest or the breakthrough! The Farmers job was to do what he knew to do: plant, sleep, rise and do his daily work, then allow the Lord of the Harvest to bring forth the promise.

Jesus was showing us how often we become impatient and try and get ahead of God. When God has given us a promise to stand on we want to know as my pastor always tells us people will doubt by asking questions like “God how are you going to do that? Or When are you going to bring it to pass?
In verse 27 says “and then continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed sprouts and grows and increases, he himself does not know how. A farmer never knows exactly when his crop will come in, but he knows that it will. He does what he can and allows God to do the rest. We need to do the same thing. We are to believe we have a breakthrough coming, we sleep and rise and allow God to bring it about in due season. The farmer planted the seed believing for his return, his promise, his breakthrough and we are to do the same!
Remain blessed.

How can you help your Church to grow?
Too often, I have heard people complain that the church they attend isn’t growing, or there are not enough people of their kids’ age, or the people just don’t get together and do things like they’d like to.
Unfortunately, I am very sorry to say that, most of the time, these same people aren’t willing to do what it takes to help bring about positive change, so they just move to another congregation nearby. That’s not the correct solution to the problem, and so the question remains to be asked:
How can I help the church to grow?
First, it must be recognized that everybody is vital to the health of the congregation and everyone has a part to play. Paul refers to the church as a body and in 1 Corinthians12:1-31 shows the importance of every part, making the case that no part is greater than any other and every part is important. Not all do the same job but everybody must do their job in order for the body to be in the best shape it can be. In Eph. 4:16, Paul says that when every joint is working and doing its share, it “causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Questions-” Are you doing your share? Do you know what you’re good at doing? Then do it! It doesn’t matter if others are not doing their share, we still have an obligation to do what we can to help the body grow and be edified.
The edification that Paul speaks of is crucial in the church’s growth and development. We have to make sure that edification is at the heart of everything we do, both in the public worship service and in our personal lives. That means that whatever we do to help the church grow must be done out of love and sincerity, thinking of others’ needs and their spiritual health. By the way, isn’t it interesting that when we do that, our own spiritual health is increased? So how do you help edify the brethren? Edification has to do with encouragement, so seek out ways to encourage the members of the body. Visit the sick at home and in the hospital. Take food to the sick. Talk with the discouraged. Show people you care. Have people in your home for meals and fellowship. If you’re good at teaching, teach and make sure you put your all into it. Begin some Bible studies at your home and invite people from church as well as neighbors and friends. Doing these things and more can help edify the church and help develop the close feelings that Christians needs to have with each other.
An obvious benefit of having home Bible studies with neighbors and friends included is that the lost are taught. Considering this is one of our greatest missions as Christians, we should be doing this anyway.
How does this help the church to grow? Of course, the first way is by adding new converts to the local church. That should be our primary goal in the Bible studies and when others are converted, the church has grown numerically, but it also has grown spiritually. New converts breathe new life into a church and can help jump start a stagnant church into action. New converts are excited and are often more zealous for the gospel than those who have been Christians for some time. Also, new converts are likely to start spreading the good news to their friends and neighbors, and so with the Lord’s help, even more converts are brought to Christ. When all of this starts happening, the church becomes excited and those who haven’t been doing their share start getting involved again.
Instead of complaining about the church and trying to find a better church, let’s make sure we are doing our part to help the church grow. When we do our part, encourage the brethren and help to bring new converts to Christ, then everybody benefits and suddenly, we’re not looking for greener pastures (You will not find a ready made church, you have to allow God to use you were you are)

God’s Greatness
Psalm 105:1 (NKJV) says, “Give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples”
How do you show your appreciation when someone gives you something you did not expect to get? Do you tell them how much grateful you are? And what do you do with the present you are given? When you are truly thankful for what you have received, you probably open and display the gift proudly, so that other people could see and admire it, you might even want to tell them about where it came from and about the kindness of the person who gave it to you. In the same way, as Christians we should give thanks to the Lord and show our gratefulness and appreciation for all He has done for us by displaying the things He has given us. Examples of the things to display are; love, peace, joy, kindness, and hope. We should live our lives in such a way that our very actions proclaim His greatness and cause others to take notice. Proclaim His greatness by living a life of gratitude to Him and not to forget to let the whole world know what He has done for you!
God bless you.

Allow Jesus to be your weight lifter
Why are you carrying burdens on your shoulders? are you loaded down with the cares of this life?
What you need to know is that you can let Jesus have anything that is burdening you.In the book of 1 Peter 5:6-7 He said to cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you. Also in (Hebrews 12:1) the Bible tells us to “lay aside every weight that does so easily beset us”
I often hear Christians say how stressed they are, how they worry about everything. I sometimes have to remind myself to be at peace and know that God will take care of me. When I feel some sort of pressure from everyday life, my trust is not in myself or others, but in the Living God. He promises never to leave me nor forsake me. All I have to do is remember that He has brought me out of trials before and He can do it again.
I saw the weight lifter the other day on the TV and thought how hard it must be. He has worked up to lifting more and more. If it were too heavy, he would drop some weights off, I am sure.
This made me think that we, too, shouldn't carry the burdens, or the weights, on us either. Weights are those things that bog us down and pull on our spirits so much that we have no joy or peace.
Jesus is standing besides you He is the One who helps us. He takes those weights that are too heavy so they don't come crashing down on our chests.
Let us give those needless weights that we carry around to Jesus. Allow the Lord to lighten your load.
Remain blessed.
