The goal to come up in life has made most of us to put all our efforts in what we do. Are these efforts real rewarded? Most of them bring disappointments than any real fruits. The Lord says to us, if you are willing to listen and obey what I say then I would make you enjoy the efforts of your hand.
I was reading my bible about Jacob, who once was a deceiver and ran away from his house clutching his dear life in fear of his brother,it was not long when he learned to depend on God for everything. The Lord also blessed him so much that he said,
"I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which you have shown your servant for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies". Read Genesis 32:10.
Same thing would happen to us if we believe in Jesus and accept him as our savior. He will look after your chores. Jacob was blessed with the dew of heaven, of fatness of the earth and plenty of grain and wine. Poverty will not enter your premises.
Brethren the poverty may not necessarily mean lack of wealth but it may be also lack of love, care, affection, knowledge or resources.
When God promised Jacob to take care of him and be with him wherever he goes, Jacob took a vow saying, Lord I will pay tenth of whatever I get (The tithe). That was the determination Jacob had to receive God’s blessing. You too you can determine to do something for God, that will cause Him to release His blessings.

Brethren, it is our duty to pay Tithe to God as he has blessed us and give food and shelter and protected us all these days. If you do not have the habit of paying the tithe, start doing it now and see a change in your life, I have and I have seen His blessings upon my life and I would like to encourage you to do the same (Get into the habit of paying your tithe).
Let me remind you of this scripture Malachi 3:10 it says, "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house and try me now in this. Says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it". Brethren, why not try this and see what happens.
Lord’s blessings are open to us too. Please turn your bible and read these verses of blessings. It will encourage you, Deuteronomy 8:7–10; 11:11–18; 26:19; Ezekiel 20:6; Isaiah 49:3; As it is said before, if we would listen to him, all the above blessings will become ours. He will also set us high above all which he has made, in praise, in name and in honor, and that we may be a holy people to the Lord our God, just as has spoken. Jesus wants to bless so that we may lead a holy life and be the holy people for him.
