To put the story in short
God sent Jonah to the great city Nineveh to announce His judgement against it because people in nineveh were wicked!
But Jonah got up and went to the opposite direction to get away from God.
Jonah was both foolish and selfish. He mistakenly thought he could run away from God. He ignored God's desires and indulged his own prejudice against the people of Nineveh, Israel's fiercest enemies. He thought he knew better than God when it came to the fate of the Ninevites.
But finally he recognized the power of God when he was swallowed by a whale and remained in its belly for three days. Jonah had the good sense to repent and thank God for his life. He delivered God's message to Nineveh with skill and accuracy. Even though he resented it, he did his duty.
We may think that we can run or hide from God but we're only fooling ourselves. Our role may not be as dramatic as Jonah's, but we have a duty to God to carry it out to the best of our ability.
Only God who's in control of everything, not us. When we choose to disobey him, we should expect bad consequences. From the moment Jonah went his own way, things started to go wrong.
God is the only righteous judge, favoring whom he pleases. God sets the agenda and timetable. Our job is to follow his instructions.
It only takes our obedience to God for our lives to change for better or to disobey God for things to go wrong in life!

In Order to Succeed........
Something has to change in us.
This is what happened when Jesus appear to His disciples besides the sea of Galilee, after they had caught nothing for all night. He said to them, "Cast your net on the right hand side of the boat and you will get some" (John 21:6) and the bible says when they obeyed Jesus's voice they couldn't haul in the net because of there were so many fish in it.
Now, with a human mind we could easy dis-agree with what a carpenter(Jesus) would say to a fisherman (Professionals - Simon Peter one of them) who has been fishing for a long time( same way with same attitude - no change even when there's nothing to catch.
The lesson here is that if we want to succeed we have to be obedient to God.
Jesus tested the disciples' obedience so that they could learn that blessings comes from obeying. In our relationship with God, success follows obedience, even when what He is asking us to do seems ridiculous to us. We are not clever than God. We can’t keep doing the same things or go against God's words or do all the wrong things and expect success and good things to happen. Success only comes as we are willing to listen to Jesus and do what he says.
Another lesson is to have a humble heart (humility). As we have learned that the disciples were professional fishermen. So they had to be humble enough to do what Jesus said rather than trusting what they had personally learned about fishing. It was not just what they had learned through experience but what their parents had taught them. What he was asking them to do did not seem that different from what they had been doing all night. But when it is time to follow God, we can’t give up and we can’t always depend on our own knowledge. Jesus wants us to have a teachable spirit. I am convinced that having a teachable spirit is one of the most important characteristics that we can have in life. There are some people among us to whom you simply can’t tell them anything, because they think they already know it all. They don’t want any body's advise. They don’t want to hear it and so they never learn. We have to have humility and a willing spirit.
After king David had committed adultery with Bathsheba, he prayed and said, "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and make me willing to obey you" (Psalm 51:12) And so we should be willing to listen to Jesus and do what he says.
One more lesson is that, we meet God when we come to the end of our resources.
The disciples had been fishing all night. They had done all they could do. They knew the best fishing holes. They were experts at their trade they knew how to use their fishing knowledge but they still had no fish. They were at the end of what they could do. Their resources were spent. At the point where we give up is often when God shows up. That is when Jesus appeared to them and asked them to cast their net on their right hand side!

Fellowship with God is a tremendous privilege.
Apostle Paul
wrote this in Philippians 3:10-14
Make time to spend a quality time with your maker.
Remain blessed!
"I want
to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing
in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death...Not that I have already
obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take
hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not
consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting
what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal
to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus"
In the
progression of our Christian life, we are transformed into the likeness of
Jesus by the Spirit of God. Sometimes we fall back into the rut of trying to
change ourselves, and we end up frustrated. We forget that we can't change ourselves.
You see, in the same way we submitted to the Lord in our initial salvation
experience, we must daily submit to God. We need to develop a vibrant daily
devotional life, He will change us, and develop us. Interestingly enough, we
will never get to the point where God stops to develop us. In this life we'll never come to a place
where we have finally arrived, where we can retire as Christians. Our true
retirement plan God has for us is heaven! Make time to spend a quality time with your maker.
Remain blessed!
The Cost of Following Jesus Christ!
We
say we’re ready. We cry out to the Lord, Lord use me, create in me a
clean heart and renew a right Spirit within me, do not remove me from
your presence and please don’t take your Spirit away from me. Are ready
to give up self, strip yourself of you and all you have to follow
Jesus Christ without looking back. Are you ready to put God before your
family, friends, job, etc? If the Lord says, "pick up and go", Will you
go? Are you ready to give it all up and totally trust in the Lord?
trust in where He has for you to go? Trust in what He has for you to
do? If you can get on your knees and speak these things in prayer,
then turn right back around and go down the same path you’ve just asked
to be cleansed and delivered from. How can He use you if you’ve crowded
yourself so that He can’t get inside. You say create in me a clean
heart but you still have no LOVE no FORGIVENESS, He can’t forgive you or
cleanse you if you don’t do the same! So with that being said, when
you rise up off of your knees are you in the same place you were when
you got down on them, rising up with that same hatred, and non
forgiveness? You say do not remove me from your presence, but you take
every chance to run away from the presence of the Almighty God. You
say don’t take Your Spirit away from me, but you don’t yield yourself to
allow the Holy Spirit inside. God will not make you do anything. We
ask but we have to allow Him in. Give up self and God can come on in
and use you and do a mighty work within you. Are you ready?
I Love You!

FEED YOUR SPIRIT WITH SPIRITUAL NUTRITION
Reading God's word, Praying and fasting is very Important:
Earlier we saw Jesus was able to defend Himself against the Devil by quoting scripture, therefore, having a good knowledge of the bible is vital for Christians.
My friends,
as Christians we need to be strong both physically and mentally. The Christian
life is being threatened daily by those who are against the faith. We must be
consistently nurturing our spiritual life to properly defend it. Also, as
Christians, we are continuously growing. We need spiritual food in order for us
to stay healthy spiritually.
Jesus is our
perfect example:
Jesus
always made the time to pray to His Father. Throughout the Gospels, you will
notice that He would slip away to somewhere quiet for prayer. He also asked His
disciples to do the same.
In
Matthew 6:6 the bible says, "But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut
the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly."
We read in the bible that Jesus was tested by Satan after He
had finished praying and fasting for forty days and nights. But He overcame
Satan by the word of God.
In Matthew 4:4, Jesus answered, "
It is written:
'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth
of God.'
Jesus knew what was written in the bible. Therefore, we
need to read the word of God from the bible. I remember a woman of God was
preaching in the conference, she said, “Reading the word of God is like someone
depositing money into a bank, and when he/she needs it, will go to the bank and
withdraw it. You cannot withdraw the money if you have not first deposited it.
Therefore, we need the word of God stored or deposited in our hearts so that
when the devil comes we would be able to stand firm! We will have the "word" to say to him, "It is written..."
Spending
quiet time with God is important in developing a quality relationship with Him.
This is
the meaning of 'feeding on every word
that comes from the mouth of God'. Jesus was very familiar with the Scriptures
and so He was able to beat the Devil at his time. When we fill our spirits
with spiritual food we can fight off any temptations or negative spirits that may
come our way.
Earlier we saw Jesus was able to defend Himself against the Devil by quoting scripture, therefore, having a good knowledge of the bible is vital for Christians.
There are
many bible reading tools that can help you read the whole bible in a year.
This is good as trying to read the bible from beginning to the end although
this isn’t every once’ cup of tea.
Other tools could help you get familiar with
bible scriptures could be through:
Devotionals;
Reading religious books and magazines ; Listening to Gospel and other
inspirational music; Watching uplifting and family related films/movies; Going
to church regularly; Have more time with quality people who can help encourage
and guide you on the right path. Lastly, Use the internet carefully. There are
many social networking sites provided for Christians that are suitable for the
growing Christian.
I hope this short message will encourage you in some ways!
I love you all and remain blessed!
THE WEAK AND THE STRONG (Romans14:1-23)
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. One man’s faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The
man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the
man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for
God has accepted him. Who
are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or
falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
One
man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers
every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He
who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat,
eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does
so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You,
then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your
brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written:
'As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,‘every knee will bow before me;every tongue will confess to God.’
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
Therefore
let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind
not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way. As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean. If
your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer
acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother for whom
Christ died. Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Do
not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean,
but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to
stumble. It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall.
So
whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.
Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But
the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is
not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.

JESUS SAID TO HIM,"...HE WHO HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER....."(John 14:9)
Imagine the following scenario: A father tells his little girl, “Come here, girl. Mummy says that you have been playing by the roadside. Is that true?” “Yes, Daddy. I am sorry.” “Sorry? How many times have I told you not to play near the road? Come here! Lie down on the road and stretch out your legs!” |
Daddy drives his car over his little girl’s legs. You can hear the sound of bones being crushed and the poor girl screaming in pain! |
“Now, darling, you know that Daddy loves you. And Daddy did that to teach you a lesson, that playing by the roadside is dangerous.” |
You are probably shaking your head in horror by now, wondering which sick father would do that. Yet, there are many Christians who believe that our heavenly Father does the same thing. They say that He gives people sicknesses, accidents, earthquakes and death to teach them lessons. |
But Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” Jesus is the nature of God in action. Throughout the Gospels, we see Jesus or God going about healing the sick. If God wants some people sick, then there should be at least one incident in the Gospels where you see Jesus saying, “Behold, your complexion is too lovely, receive leprosy,” or “Blindness is good for you. Remain blind.” But no, never once! In fact, Jesus “went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil”. (Acts 10:38) That’s the heart of God. |
As a father, if your child is sick and in pain, your heart just wants him well. How much more your heavenly Father! My friend, God does not give your child a sickness to teach both of you some lesson or to glorify Himself. To think so is to talk out of a warped mind bound by religion! And Christianity is not a religion. It is a loving relationship with your Father in heaven. |
Beloved,
hear God speaking this to your heart today: “I will never punish you
for your sins because they have been punished in My Son’s body. I do not
wish you ill. I will not take away your child or give you a car wreck
to teach you some lesson. My heart always wants My children well and
joyful!” Joseph Prince |
LET GOD BE GOD!
“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him...”(Psalm 37:7)
Are
you struggling with trying to make a dream come to pass? Are you
frustrated in a relationship, trying to make someone else change or live
right? You may mean well, you may have good goals, but if you are
trying to orchestrate things to happen your way, on your timetable, you
are only going to frustrate yourself. At some point, you have to turn
those circumstances over to God and trust that He has your best interest
at heart.
How
do you turn things over to God? Start by making the choice and
declaring your resolve. Simply say, “Father, I choose to let You be God
of this situation. I take my hands off. I trust You.” Then, choose to
worship Him. Worship is one of the best ways to set your heart and mind
in the right place. You can’t worry and worship at the same time!
Worship is a sign that you are trusting God; worry is a sign that you
are trying to control things.
Today,
take the pressure off yourself and turn things over to God. Give Him
control and let Him take your setbacks and turn them into comebacks.
Remember, the God who holds the universe holds you in the palm of His
hand. Trust Him and let God be God in every area of your life!
WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE!
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)
So
many people live life worried about what everyone else thinks and
wondering how they can impress other people. But we have to realize that
when we come to the end of life, we’re not going to stand before people
to give an account of our lives, we are going to stand before Almighty
God. He is not going to say, “Why didn’t you do what so-and-so said to
do? Why didn’t you fit into their mold? Why didn’t you take their
opinion?” No, He is going to ask, “Did you become who I created you to
be? Did you stay true to what I put in your heart?” This
is where Saul missed it. Saul had a big destiny. God had great
things in his future, but Saul was so insecure that he let people
squeeze him into their mold. He was afraid he was going to disappoint
somebody. He said in First Samuel 15:24, “I disobeyed the Lord’s
instructions because I was afraid of the people, so I did what they
asked.” Notice Saul knew what to do. He even admitted it, “I disobeyed
God’s instructions.” Why? He was a people pleaser. He forfeited his
destiny in order to please people. Friend, don’t let that be you! Don’t
be a people pleaser, be a God pleaser because pleasing God is all that
matters when all is said and done.
Whom do you say God is?
My friends, according to the bible and my life experiences, I am here to say that, God exists, created us, loves us, is concerned for our being, desires to provide for us, and sent the Son to redeem us.The question of who God is, brings us closer to understanding more of who God really is in
His character and His love for us as revealed in the Bible. The Bible teaches us that in all existence, from all eternity, there has
been and always will be only one God. God was never created, is
completely loving, completely just, completely holy, completely
merciful, and that He desires the best for us. God is holy and He can
have nothing to do with sin as the Bible says, His eyes are too pure to look upon evil (Habakkuk 1:13). This does not mean that God cannot see what someone does that is wrong.
It is a way of describing how holy God is. God cannot sin. He is
perfect!
In Christianity, God is a Trinity. This means that God is three
persons, not three gods. Technically, the doctrine of the Trinity
states that in the one God is the person of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit. Each is not the same person as the other; yet there are
not three gods but one. This is similar in analogy to the nature of
time. Time is past, present, and future. The past is not the same as
the present, which is not the same as the future. But, there are not
three times. There is only one thing called time. Because of the Trinity, God can become flesh in the form of the Son, and
still exist in such a way so that He can run the universe. Therefore,
the Son can communicate to us on our level. The following are few scriptures that hints at trinity Matthew 28:19-Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; 2Corinthians 13:14-May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. The Bible says there is only one God: "I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God,"(Isaiah 45:5) Yet, the Bible teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each called God.
Below are some few scriptures that that I gathered which shows that each of the persons in the Trinity share the same attributes
that only God shares. But remember, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
each have wills, and speak, etc. Therefore, we say there are three
persons.
THE FATHER:
Philippians 1:2- May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Isaiah 64:8- But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.
THE SON:
John 16:30 - Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to
have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from
God."
John 1:1 - In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
THE HOLY SPIRIT:
Acts 5:3-4 - Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart
that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some
of the money you received for the land? Didn’t
it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the
money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You
have not lied to men but to God.”
Job 33:3 - For the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Always be in spirit and remain blessed!
Your destiny is determined by Almighty God!
One
thing I’ve learned in my life is that God likes to outdo Himself. His
dream for your life is so much bigger than your own. His ways are
higher, and He has an appointed time of favor for your life. He is going
to take you places that you never thought possible. He is going to open
up doors that you never have imagined. He’s going to bring talent out
of you that you didn’t even know you had. This is the time to get
excited about your future! It’s time to get your hopes up because you
have been chosen by the Creator of the universe. Your destiny is not
determined by the economy, how you were raised, or your education. Your
destiny is determined by Almighty God.
Today, I
want to encourage you to set your thoughts on things above. It’s time
for you to move up higher to a new level. The good news is that God has
already laid out victory before you. I declare that in the days ahead
you’re going to stumble into it. Get ready because God is going to raise
you up into the life of blessing He has prepared for you!

Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Hab2:3)
Every dream has a voice. Every vision must speak in order for it to be realized! In making decisions that guarantee success against all odds, be ready to be vocal. In your ministry, marriage, home, career, business, be vacal about what you want and what you expect. Confess regularly what you expect to happen to your life. Be articulate. Say what you mean and mean what you say; Do not just think of it or dream of it but speak it!
Many believers are secret dreamers! They never say what is in their heart and so when they do not see it manifest, they heave a sigh of relief, thanking God that no one witnessed their embarrassment! Many people are hesitate to voice out their dreams because they afraid of being laughed out, rejected or mocked. Let us be like Joseph, he was bold, when he had his dream, knowing fully well that his brothers hated him, he voiced it out boldly to them (Genesis 37:5-6) he knew that a dream spoken out will become a reality! After they mocked at his dream, Joseph went ahead and dreamt a bigger dream and came to the same set of people that laughed at him and told them his new vision!
Do you know that Joseph was in trouble with his brothers because of voicing out his dreams and so the brothers sold him out to slavery in order to quench his dreams? Yet the same dream took him to the palce! Glory be to God!
John 6:63, says"........The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" My friends, the words that we speak have a spirit and a life of their own! They go out and execute what you have said, whether good or bad!
Therefore speak your dream. Give your vision a face. Let heaven hear your heart. Commit yourself.

Jesus' Leadership Lesson with the Towel....John 13:1-15
Jesus taught one of His greatest leadership with a towel.
My friends, it is very rare to see leaders serving their followers. Yet servant leadership is the example that Jesus set in the gospels for all His followers. Christian are called to embrace a paradigm of servant leadership that is mostly foreign to that which is practiced in the world.
The scripture in the bible (John 13:1-15) teach us that:
1- You cannot love without serving (Jesus showed them the full extent of His love)
2- Only secure people can serve and be servant leaders
3- Servant leaders require humility
4- Servant leadership includes action not just words
5- A servant leader leads by example
6- Servant leadership "minds the gap" between what we say and what we do
7- Greatness is serving. In Mark 10:42-44 - we read:
"Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all"
8- The way down is the way up...In Philippians we read:
"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself
and became obedient to death, even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name"
Therefore, as Christians we have a golden opportunity to pray for all our leaders and ourselves that our attitude should be Christlike.

Listen to the voice of God speaking!
Just because God tells you to be still doesn’t mean that He has
something to say to you all the time maybe He just has something to
do…through His Word He’s already spoken!!! it could just mean that He is
working some things out and you need to be still to stay out of the
way…Because we have a habit of getting in the way, we even get in our
own way…
When He says be Quiet it
means just that don’t talk He knows what’s in your heart and what’s on
your mind… your mouth does not need to be moving all the time…Sometimes
He’s just getting you to perfect your obedience…(Listen) Means just that
Listen to when I say be quiet or be still…Not Listen for me to say
something…again He’s already spoken through His Word…
He’s training…
Jesus said “Watch and pray“…Study to show yourself approved unto God,
When the Lord tells you to get up out of your bed and pray,, When He
tells you to be quiet, When He tells you to be Still that’s what it is
just that!!! Now that you know when He speaks and your obedient enough
to listen… Then and only then might He be able to give you that mountain
top experience.. And that mountain top experience is not just for you
to hold on to. Its where we get some instruction. Now it’s time to allow
God to do something through you.. Come down the mountain and do a good
work.. You were able to hear His voice clearly now because you‘re in a
covenant relationship with Him.… Allow God to be God we are not in
control we need to get out of the way.. We have to be all poured out so
the spirit of God can enter in..

Goliaths and Giants of life
You may be facing challenges right now in your life that looks like Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-58) or Giants who makes you feel as small as grasshoppers in your own eyes (Numbers 13:33). Challenges, difficulties - People trying to pull you down or hates you just because they don't understand you or because you don't care about their criticisms. People will always try to find faults in you and say negative things about you.
Let me remind you of the the good news "don't worry"! As you believe in God, you have incredible greatness of His power within you. The same power that conquered the grave lives in you and moreover, the Lord Himself will go before you and will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you therefore do not be afraid and do not be discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8) put your trust in Him and don’t look at the challenges or people no more!

2 Kings 7:3-7
Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.”
At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.
My friends, many times we are afraid of making a move or taking risks. But look at what these men with leprosy did. They took risk and moved from where they were to go to the camp of the Arameans(enemies) This is where I like most, see how God stood by the men with leprosy? God caused the Arameans to hear the heavy sound of chariots, horses and great army...... and so the Arameans got scared and fled ha ha ha! I love this. My friends that is how God can put your enemies to flight. Trust in Him.

Evalasting Righteouness Daniel 9:24
Our righteounes is 'everlasting righteouness'! Jesus has obtained "eternal redemtion" for us. Hebrews 9:12. You may think that you have sinned and starting asking yourself questions such as 'How can I still be righteous?'
Dear friends, it is not what you do that makes you righteous. It is what Christ has done at Calvary.
Romans 5:19 says "For as by one man's (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one man's obedience many will be made righteous." It is obedience of one man that is Christ and not our obedience, that has made us righteous!
Therefore let us establish what Christ has done. He wants our conscious of our evalasting righteouness in Christ.
How do we do that? we can listen to annointed messages that reminds us of righteouness in Christ and knowing it in our head and speak it. Every morning we must tell ourselves that " We are the righteouness of God in Christ!" 2 Corinthians5:21.

A Warning against Drifting Away
So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished. So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak? And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose. Hebrews 2:1-4 NLT
Faith and Endurance
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4 NLT

New Year 2012
Thank God we have seen the new year. This is not because we are better than others but because of His purpose for each of us. Let's pray and ask God to help us to discover His purpose for our lives this year; Let us continue to abide in His word and to show love to His people wherever we are. However we worked and served Him last year, this year we need to double our work for Him. Let us also remember the bible story of the faithful servant & evil servant in Luke 12:35-48. ‘Jesus is coming back very soon’, where and how will He find us? This year we must be attentive to His voice because God speaks to us all the time and I am sure even as you are reading this message right now, He is speaking to you, let us listen and be a doer of His word.
May God’s love & peace be with us this year in Jesus name.
Remain blessed & happy New Year
